NEOVANTAGE lets you set a blog and sidebar layout for each type of page independently. Want a right sidebar on posts but full width on pages? You can do exactly that.
Setting Default Layouts
- Go to Appearance > Customize > Blog Layout.
- Choose the default layout for each context below.
- Click Publish.
Layouts You Can Control
- Default Sidebar Layout – single posts.
- Default Page Sidebar Layout – static pages.
- Default Categories Layout – category archives.
- Default Tags Layout – tag archives.
- Default Author Layout – author archive pages.
- Default Search Page Layout – search results.
Each can be set to a right sidebar, left sidebar, or full width (no sidebar) layout.
What Goes in the Sidebar
The sidebar is a widgetWidgetA small content block you place into a sidebar or widget area. area. Add widgets – search, recent posts, categories, custom HTML – under Appearance > Widgets in the Sidebar area. If you choose a full-width layout, the sidebar is simply hidden on those pages.
