An overlay is a tint laid over a slide image. It makes white caption text readable on bright photos and gives the slider a more polished, consistent look.
Add an overlay
- On any slide, open the Overlay selector.
- Choose Dark (for light images) or Light (for dark images). Choose None to remove it.
- Set the Opacity from 0.05 (barely visible) to 1 (fully opaque).
Tips
- Around 0.3 to 0.5 usually balances readability against showing the image.
- Use the same overlay setting on every slide for a uniform feel.
