Create Your First Carousel

This guide builds a simple image slider from scratch. It takes only a few minutes.

Step 1: Create a new slider

1. In the sidebar, open NEO Bootstrap Carousel and click Add New.
2. Give your slider a name (for example, “Homepage Slider”). This is for your reference only.

Step 2: Add slides

1. In the Slides box, keep the source set to Media Library.
2. Click Add Slide and pick images from your media library.
3. For each slide, add an optional caption, link and overlay.

Step 3: Publish and copy the shortcode

1. Click Publish.
2. Open NEO Bootstrap Carousel in the sidebar to see the Sliders list. Copy the shortcode from the Shortcode column, for example .
3. Paste it into any page or post and update. Your carousel is now live.
