Typography sets the tone of your whole site, and NEOVANTAGE makes it easy to set up fonts and typography from the Customizer. You get two font combinations and assign one to your headings and one to your body text, all with live preview.
Opening Typography Settings
- Go to Appearance > Customize > Typography.
- Configure Font Combination 1 and Font Combination 2.
- Under Assign Fonts, choose which combination powers your Headings and which powers your Body.
Choosing a Font Source
Each font combination has a Font Source, so you can use the service you prefer:
- Google Fonts – pick from the bundled Google Fonts list; nothing to install.
- Typekit (Adobe Fonts) – enter your Typekit Kit ID and Typekit Font Name to use your Adobe Fonts kit.
- Custom Font – enter a Custom Font Name already available on your site or system.
Each source also has a Fallback font and a Font Weight setting, so text still renders correctly while web fonts load.
Best Practices
- Use one font for headings and one for body for a clean, professional look.
- Limit the number of font weights you load to keep your pages fast.
- Preview on mobile – what looks great on desktop can be too large or too small on phones.
