Set Up Footer Widgets & Copyright

NEOVANTAGE gives you a four-column footer widgetWidgetA small content block you place into a sidebar or widget area. area plus a customizable copyright line, so setting up footer widgets and copyright lets your footer do real work – about text, recent posts, social links, contact details, and more.

Turn the Footer Widget Area On

1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Footer.
2. Enable the Footer Widgets Area option.
3. Set your Footer Copyright Text (the line at the very bottom of every page).

Add Widgets to the Footer Columns

1. Go to Appearance > Widgets.
2. You will see four areas: Footer Column 1, Footer Column 2, Footer Column 3, and Footer Column 4.
3. Drag or add a widget into each column. Empty columns are hidden automatically, so the footer always stays balanced.

Other Widget Areas

• Sidebar – shown next to posts and pages that use a sidebar layout.
• Slideshow – used by the Blog with Slideshow template.

Tip: a tidy footer with About, Recent Posts, a category list, and social links is a proven layout that works for almost every blog.
