Most settings apply to every carousel. But a single slider can override two of them – the slide interval and the caption animation – using the Carousel Settings box on the edit screen.
Where to find it
Edit any slider. The Carousel Settings box sits in the right-hand (side) column, next to the Slides box.
What you can override
- Slide Interval (ms) – leave empty to inherit the global Design default, or enter a value just for this carousel.
- Caption Animation – choose Default (Design settings) to inherit, No animation to disable, or pick a specific Animate.css effect.
Precedence
A shortcode interval attribute still beats the per-carousel value. Everything else inherits from your global settings unless overridden here.
