Enabling Maintenance Mode

1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Maintenance Mode.
2. Turn on Enable Maintenance Mode.
3. Enter your Maintenance Message – for example, “We will be back soon!”
4. Click Publish.

Good to Know

• Logged-in administrators can still browse the site normally, so you can keep working while visitors see the message.
• Remember to switch it back off when you are done – it is easy to forget and leave your site hidden.
• For a long pre-launch period, consider a dedicated coming-soon page with an email signup form.

Tip: combine this with a tracking code so you can still measure traffic to your maintenance page.
