Install the NEOVANTAGE Core Plugin

The NEOVANTAGE Core pluginPluginA package of code that adds features to a WordPress site without altering core files. is the free companion for the themeThemeA collection of templates and styles that controls how your site looks.. NEOVANTAGE works without it, but Core adds the extra features that make a site feel complete, so we recommend installing it early.

Installing NEOVANTAGE Core

1. After activating the theme, look for the prompt to install recommended plugins, or go to Plugins > Add New.
2. Search for NEOVANTAGE Core.
3. Click Install Now, then Activate.

What It Adds

• Post view counts – track how many times each post has been viewed.
• Enhanced recent posts widgetWidgetA small content block you place into a sidebar or widget area. – a richer recent-posts widget with thumbnails for your sidebar and footer.
• Author contact fields – extra social and contact fields on user profiles for author boxes.
• Demo importer – one-click import of the demo content so your site matches the theme preview.
• Customizer export/import – back up and move your Customizer settings.
