Using Post Formats

NEOVANTAGE supports WordPress post formats, so each post can be presented in the style that suits its content. A quote looks like a quote, a video leads with the player, and a gallery shows a grid – automatically.

Choosing a Format for a Post

1. Create or edit a post.
2. In the block editor, open the Post settings panel on the right and find Format (in the Classic Editor it is the Format box).
3. Pick a format, then add the matching content and publish.

The Formats NEOVANTAGE Styles

• Standard – a normal article with its featured image.
• Gallery – showcases an image gallery.
• Image – leads with a single image.
• Video – puts an embedded or self-hosted video front and center.
• Audio – features an audio player, ideal for podcasts and music.
• Quote – presents a large, designed quotation.
• Link – highlights a link out to another page.

Tips

• For Video and Audio formats, paste the URL or use the relevant block – NEOVANTAGE handles the styling.
• You can still add normal paragraphs and headings to any format.
• Formats are a great way to keep a varied blog visually interesting.
